The Modding Update: Prototype 8 Has Been Released!

• Added new penetration mechanic!
• Added 2 new awesome weapons! The Doomstick and The Gauss Cannon!
• Fixed some show-stopping internal bugs and updated the game engine to the latest version.
• Improved how weapons, images and sounds are stored in the random access memory to prevent some memory leaks and reduce memory consumption in general.

As I currently mention in the description of the game, you can add your own custom weapons to the game, but, it required you to know how to create and edit INI files which is quite tedious and sometimes straight-up boring!

So, I created a new visual tool to simplify the process! It's called Brutes 2D Mod Tool and it's available to download via the Mod Tool package on GameJolt!

It gives you access to ALL weapon properties that you can mix and match to create virtually endless weapons!

Want to add a katana-launching pistol to the game? You can!

Want to add shotgun that fires eggs instead of slugs or shells? You can!

Everything you can imagine is achievable! And the new mod tool simplifies it's creation process!
